I dedicate this blog to my bladder story and journey. " A tale told by an idiot , full of sound and fury , signifying nothing. " Bladder cancer is a challenge . Problems shared are problems halved. It is my sincere hope that my sharing here will be therapeutic and inspiring , for me and also for you. Namasté !

Hi Mara, Your haircut has turned out well. I don't think I have ever seen you with such short hair either. It will take a while to get used to but I do like it. You will have to get a good, warm, furry hood for the winter. It is getting chilly. Dace xxx
It was an easy decision to make as my hair was so damaged and falling out . My new hairdresser , Gina is wonderful and cut away all the dead damaged hair while still leaving some around my face and on top. It has thinned out considerably. This will make wearing a wig easier too. Gina is such a dear soul too - we are kindred spirits and always have lots to talk about , so I feel both 'healed' and inspired after this haircut.
I have quite a few warm hats and berets as well as a wig to keep me warm :-) Yes , it is getting chilly !
I think short hair looks fine and suits you but it gives you a whole new identity. Perhaps that is all part of the plan in exploring other aspects of your person and soul.
Much love,
Ninghal
P.S. Don't know whether you are sensitive to spray on colour or wash-out gels. If you are not, then why not try some flashes of your favourite colours.
'A whole new identity' is a very interesting thought. " Who am I ? " really and truly has fascinated and intrigued me for as long as I can remember. Who am I beyond my conditioning ?
Hair has always been an important part of my identity , which is why this decision to cut hair off has been so interesting. It was an easy decision to make since hair was falling out and most of the hair that I had was damaged and unhealthy. It felt good and feels good now. I'm much thinner on top , but now when I run my fingers through my hair it feels silky and I am not left with a handful of hair in my hand.
Not so sure about the coloured gels or sprays right now. I went through a phase of red hair a year or so ago, so it feels like 'been there , done that ' but ..who knows ... maybe in the future ? Maybe a multi colour wacky wig ? lol
