Started the day with a beautiful 21 minute meditation .
Some sadness and tears , but very beautiful.
Time whizzes by with me going around in circles like a zombie
By 09 :57 , on the direct bus to the hospital . They don't run very often , so I was lucky to get a ride straight there.
10:15 Bloods at the lab .
Cup of tea and a sandwich at the hospital cafe - daylight robbery at 50kr , but needs must . I'd not had time for breakfast.
11:00 Counselling. Compassion is important . Compassion towards self as well as others. Being gentle with oneself is something we all need to learn.
12:00 Walk home and lunch with Maarja
14:00 Visitors : Elliot , Rufus and Johanna

Nice to see the pictures of Rufus and Elliot. Elliot has a lot of Alexander in him (about his looks) and Rufus looks big and strong for his age. It's too early to tell who he takes after but he has your eyes at the moment in the third photo down. It would be nice to meet them both.
Living close to the centre of town has its benefits - one does not have to rely on buses. I tend to walk almost everywhere. It takes me about 7 to 10 minutes to walk to the northern side of the centre and about 30 minutes to get to the southern end; everywhere else in the centre is somewhere in between and there are local shops closer to home.
You are in my thoughts every day, wishing you well.

I like living smack bang in the middle of shops and amenities - all a short walk away .
Back from the hospital now . It took all day because they had to get the platelet count . 50 or below would have meant that I'd have to skip the chemo. As it was, I my platelet count was 70 , which is very low but ok for them to give me half the dose , which is ok by me.
Thank you for all your good wishes and positive thoughts . It all helps
