Yes, I know it's early days , but might as well be prepared. I might not even lose all my hair , it might just thin out. I know that the past seven months of antibiotics for UTI's has already taken its toll on the quality of my hair. So , what the heck , I've always wanted a wig. Go for it , Mara !
Looking good , feeling good, peace of mind - all important parts of the journey , eh what ?
So , today , lovely super efficient friend Lena and I start exploring wigs.
The hospital gave me a list of reputable , approved retailers, so it's a case of seeing what's out there .
Bear in mind, this is the very first place we've checked out .
First one tried : Synthetic ( apparently easier to care for than real hair ) what you see is what you get colour wise , though wig is later styled .
| I look like my mother |
Half a dozen boxes appeared , all approximately the style I was after . A case of yes , no , well... maybe .....
| This one felt good |
Amazing how a wig can change the way you look , eh ?
Lena took has pics on her phone , so I might post those later
Two more places to check out in Monday.
Bye for now

Hi Mara, Thanks for the phone call.
The wigs look amazing. The dark one does make you look like mum. The second one looks like Inese and my favourite is the last one. You look totally different with straight hair! good 'though. Dace xxx
Blonde is best Kristina xxxxx
I agree, Kristina - blonde is best. xxx
Hi Mara,
I agree with Dace about the wigs. The blonde one looks the best and the brown one is too heavy for your face and colouring.
You always wanted straight hair as a teenager and got Inese to iron it for your nights out on the town. Go for it!
Ninghal.
