Arrived at hospital and was sent up to ave 22 ( dept 22 )
'There'll be a delay' they tell me
I'm hot and sticky from the walk and bus ride to the hospital , grumbling about having to get up so early grrr ( THAT is the real suffering for me GETTING UP EARLY grrrrr ) but strangely happy and giggly inside listening to my own grumbles and Panache 's jump start mp3 on iPhone
Good moaning everyone x

Hi Mara, I hope the treatment went well. How long does it take and do you stop overnight in the hospital or go back home on the same day?
Tomorrow night we are going to a bonfire in Baysgarth Park which is just across the road from us - the first one we will have been to in ages. Looking forward to it. Maybe there will be a full moon too as the prediction is for a clear night. Will be thinking of you. Dace xxx
Hiya Dace
The first treatment of a cycle is a long one and takes all day . I get both Gemsar and Cisplatin plus a drip and other stuff in-between, so they've kept me in over night . The second and third treatments in a cycle are shorter. Yesterday I got Gemsar which took an hour , bur setting up usually takes a while . I arrived at 8:30 and and left by 11 am , I think.
Have fun at the bonfire and enjoy the full moon energies. The moon has been visible these past few nights here too , while days have been dull and misty.
Take care with the fireworks ( I hate bangers and loud noises lol ) but you can bring me back some Plot toffee and a baked potato if you like :-) xxx Mara
